SOME HIGHLIGHTS

The aim of this intense two-day programme is to familiarise learners with what it is like to be a  on a busy 24-7 news floor as a producer. Often many media students will take up a producer’s job as their first job after they leave university. But aren’t prepared for the challenges of the job. This course equips students to help them better understand what to do on the job, how to deal with the pressures and still perform well. We also share a bit of career guidance, tips and any learning from industry professionals. 

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

  • Interest and some knowledge of news/ documentary production 
  • An interest / passion for current affairs/ documentaries 
  • Ability to read, write and understand English

Computers and hard drives

Please bring your MacBook computers along with you for this class. They should be preloaded with Final Cut Pro X. 

In case you would like to borrow a MacBook Pro you will have to enquire with the institute. For any equipment you may need to borrow from the institute, you will have to pay for the use of equipment seperately. Enquire with us to find out more.
